BACKGROUND
In August 1989, Pastor Wilson was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and came up out of the water, with the Evidence of speaking in an Unknown Tongue, as the Spirit of God gave him the utterance, while deployed to Okinawa Japan, serving in the United States Marine Corps. January 1990 while serving in the Infantry, 3d Battalion 2d Marine Division, his unit returned to Camp LeJeune, North Carolina and became a member of Shiloh Holiness Pentecostal Church, where the late Presiding Bishop/Dr. Robert L. Meredith and the current Pastor Dr. Bobby Gray presides. Immediately, after completing New Converts Class, Pastor Wilson joined the Alter-worker/Deliverance Committee, tarrying with people to receive the Holy Ghost and praying with people to break the oppression and possession of Satan’s grip on their lives.
January 1990, prior to deploying to Iraqi to the Desert Shield/Desert Storm War, Pastor Wilson evangelized and witness to many souls on and off the ship during the war. As the war came to an end in 1991, he returned to Camp LeJeune, NC to continue serving with the Alter-worker/Deliverance Committee.
In 1992, the Lord called Pastor Wilson to Teach and Preach the death burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. However, as he waited patiently and allowed patience to have it’s perfect work, the calling manifested in 1997. Pastor Wilson humbly accepted the duties and responsibilities as Deacon of Upperoom Apostolic Church, Okinawa, Japan.
After serving faithfully as a Deacon, he was ordained as a Minister at Upperoom Apostolic Church, Okinawa, Japan, by the late Bishop Dr. Robert L. Meredith, Shiloh Holiness Pentecostal Church, Jacksonville, NC.
